We developed the creative direction, transforming a New York City space into a beautiful environment unlike typical graffiti-covered warehouse rage rooms—where comedian Ilana Glazer hosted moms trading spa days for sledgehammers. Using a Phantom high speed camera, we captured compelling slow-motion footage of both the destruction and the genuine reactions on moms' faces. The campaign landed a coveted feature on the Today show, fulfilling Calm's Mother's Day goal of national press coverage. Through this powerful visual storytelling, Calm introduced a refreshing mental health approach that doesn't silence chaos but makes space for it—proving that sometimes, true maternal support looks like breaking things together rather than meditating alone.
